‘Meditation is a practice of attaining mental clarity & emotional stability through techniques like mindfulness, prayer, breathwork, etc. ’ The term meditation comes from the Latin term “meditatum” which means to ponder. Meditation can be done with several practices such as mindfulness, prayer, etc.
Mindfulness is a practice to bring our attention to the present moment that can include our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the external environment, with compassion & empathy. Mindfulness can be practised in several aspects of life such as eating, walking, listening, breathing, and in any activity that you like to do!
Prayer is a way of transparent communication with the “source” i.e., god, universe, force, or whatever that is you believe in, with complete faith in guidance to make life run smoothly. Prayers give you the ability to cope with situations and problems and see the good in every moment.

WLE Tip
As you wake up, think of at least 3 things you are grateful for.
Be thankful for your meals. Express your thankfulness to the food and its source.
Dedicate a wall or a cupboard door to stick photographs, notes each day about at least one thing that you’re grateful for.
Maintain a gratitude diary/ journal.
Always be thankful in your prayers.
Write a letter to the person whom you’re grateful to, expressing why you’re grateful to them.
